Seldovia's Berry Renaissance Faire

Check out the above schedule, there is honestly something for everyone!  From Dragon Hunts, live music performances, crafting, juggling, jousting, costume contests and even a masquarade ball Saturday night!

Please join us for our first annual Renaissance Faire in Seldovia!

There are 4 contests to participate in this year:
Berry Delights Contest:
CALLING ALL BERRIES!   
This fun event rewards our local cooks, bakers and chefs who create the most delicious entries from our local salmonberries.  This year - we are opening up the competition to include ALL BERRIES!  So please, bring your delicious treats to the Faire grounds (next to the Value-Added city building across from the Fuel Station) on SATURDAY - August 17th by 3:00pm to be entered in the competition!
THE DETAILS
Bring a card with your name, the name of your entry, the ingredients! 
Please submit at least 3 samples for the judges and extra for People's Choice!    
Two categories - Sweet and Savory!
Three judging criteria - Taste, Texture and Appearance (presentation)

HERALDRY Contest
Design your very own sheild/coat of arms!

COSTUME Contest
Best renaissance themed outfit - there will be a King, Queen, Prince and Princess crowned!

EATING Contest
Who can eat the delicious berry dessert the fastest - bring your napkins!  LOL!

To enter the Venue - $5.00 for adults, kids are free - and 65 and older are free as well!  Come enjoy the fun!
